A custom plan store for a pro MMA fighter

Erko Jun is a professional MMA fighter with a large following and no way to sell to it. We designed and built erkojun.com from scratch: a store where a fan answers a few questions, pays by card, and gets a diet and training plan generated for their body and goal, delivered as a PDF within seconds.

The problem

Erko has the audience. What he did not have was a product to point it at. Fans kept asking for his diet and his training, and the only way to answer was one message at a time. Writing a plan by hand for every person who asks does not scale, and a single generic PDF sold to everyone is not worth paying for.

He also has two audiences at once. Part of his following is Bosnian, part is international. And they do not pay in the same currency. Anything we built had to handle both without making him run two of everything.

What we built

A store, not a brochure. A visitor answers a short set of questions about their body, their goal, their training days and what they eat. Stripe takes the payment. The moment it clears, the app builds a plan around those exact answers, a full week of meals with calories and macros per dish, plus a training program for the days they actually train, and delivers it as a designed PDF.

The plan is not a template with a name swapped in. Targets are calculated per person, and the meals and sessions are assembled to fit them. Because it renders on demand, it costs the same to deliver the thousandth plan as the first.

We built it to renew. A plan is right for the body you have now, not the body you will have in two months, so customers can come back for a fresh plan that reflects their progress. That turns a one-off sale into something repeatable.

A page from a generated plan. Every meal, calorie and macro is calculated for that customer.

Two languages, two currencies

The whole app is bilingual, English and Bosnian. It picks the language from the visitor's browser, and a switch in the header overrides it. That is not just the buttons and labels: the generated plans are localized too, including the recipes.

One detail that cost real time and is worth knowing about. The standard PDF font cannot draw Bosnian characters like c, c and d with their diacritics. They came out blank. We embedded a font that supports them so a Bosnian customer gets their plan spelled correctly rather than full of holes.

Pricing works the same way. Visitors see euros or dollars based on where they are, can switch, and whichever they choose is the currency their order is stored and charged in.

Running it

Erko gets an admin dashboard, so he can see orders and plans without asking us. Emails go out automatically. The site is on hosting that scales on its own, which matters when a fight or a post sends a burst of traffic at it. Every deploy is stamped with a build number so we can confirm at a glance which version is live.

Why it matters beyond MMA

This is the same pattern we build for service businesses: take the thing you currently do by hand for every customer, and turn it into something the website does by itself, instantly, at any hour, in the customer's language and currency. For Erko it is training plans. For a contractor it might be quotes, for a clinic it might be intake. The work is the same.
